It's our 5th Anniversary hosting Croptoberfest! We hope you'll join us to celebrate five years of fun filled weekends of SCRAPBOOKING where all you have to do is work on preserving those treasured memories! Where: Camp Hammer in the beautiful Santa Cruz Mountains What: Hours of uninterrupted cropping time, designated workspace so you can set up your materials once for the entire weekend, 5 fully prepared meals (Saturday—brunch, snack and dinner, Sunday- breakfast and lunch), snacks, drinks and prizes throughout the weekend! When: Although we are offering the regular Friday – Sunday retreat, we will again be offering an additional day for MORE SCRAPBOOKING! You are welcome to come up a day earlier and start your Scrapbooking on Thursday! Cost: $180 for campers attending Friday – Sunday. $205 for campers attending Thursday through Sunday. Optional Add On: Additional cost for that extra day of Scrapbooking is $25.00 and will include accommodations, breakfast, lunch and dinner on Friday. Check in will be 5:00 pm Thursday night. Accommodations: Campers sleep in cabins nestled in the hillside of Camp Hammer. Cabins are carpeted, heated cabins equipped with bunk beds and bathrooms. Some of the cabins have showers for others there is a central shower facility. CROPTOBERFEST 2009

Are you ready for another 4 day weekend of mopping, doing dishes, changing diapers, washing laundry and changing sheets?? You know that Croptoberfest is really a reason for us to get together and enhance our natural woman abilities at homemaking. At least that what I've been telling my husband for the past 5 years! (hee hee!)

We are getting ready to kick off our 5TH YEAR at Camp Hammer. Wow, it seems like only yesterday when we first found out that we could leave our crop things out and not have to worry about them. We could actually climb to the top of that hill to get to our cabins. There really is a possibility of over-eating while in the dining room and my all-time favorite - the fact that every single person at Camp Hammer LOOOOVES the music we play!

Please mark your calendars for Thursday, October 22nd - Sunday, October 25th. We have already reserved our spot and we have even better news: Camp Hammer didn't raise our prices so we get to pass on the same rates to you as we had last year!

Since we are celebrating our 5 year anniversary this year, we're starting early with our notifications, getting classes scheduled, finding vendors for all-day selling, and lots of other great ideas to make this year at Croptoberfest one that nobody will forget! We do have Pepsi once again who is going to sponsor us and we have some great teachers from some of the local scrapbook stores who will be teaching classes.

We will post more information as we move closer towards the date. Keep your eyes out as we will be posting a registration form soon and in addition, we will be able to take credit cards as well. WOW! I'm already getting excited writing this blog. (As you can tell, I'm like the lady on the Progressive Insurance commercials - I get excited over EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!)
