Thank you EVERYONE for a terrific weekend. What a fantastic time. The food was such an improvement over last year, the people that came were full of fun, we had a variety of activities between the raffles and the silent auction, the music in the main room was fantastic (thanks Cindy!) and the weather was just perfect for October.
The American Cancer Society raised a pretty awesome amount from the silent auction and the raffle sales. In all, a total of $2,479 was raised for a wonderful cause. Thank you again for making this possible! With all of the positive feedback and fun that Kris and Laura presented to our group, we will be sure to ask ACS back for Croptoberfest 2008.
A special thank you to our Massage Therapists': Corinna, Annie, Carol & Stacie as well as Brooke Wollesen from Scrapbook Impressions. You certainly made the weekend so much nicer for many of our scrapbookers. Of course, we have to send the biggest thank you to Kalei Soong with Pepsi for the generous donation of drinks for all of us.
Lastly, we didn't get a chance to pass out evaluation forms and we also forgot to mention the suggestion box that we had sitting next to the Swap Box. We would like to encourage you to add your comments to this post and if you have any suggestions for us to make Camp Hammer better, we'd love to hear your thoughts.
Now for the photos that I have so far.... if you have more that you want to add to our growing collection, please email me at deardebbie@sbcglobal.net. Please send the actual digital pictures so I can upload them as opposed to sending them through CM Photo, Shutterfly, OFoto, Kodak Gallery, etc.... I'm really anxious to get some pictures of the group just below DK Hall as they had such a great set-up down there. :)
We hope to see you at Croptoberfest 2008! Keep on croppin'!!

WOW! What a terrific weekend. This is my 3rd time up at Camp Hammer and it just keeps getting better and better.
I know the goal is to get your scrapbooking done but with all the extras, the great food, the neat people we meet and the serene atmosphere, it's a perfect package. I can't wait to see what's in store for next year.
I hope that the American Cancer Society will be a part of the event too. Their raffles were so much fun and what a good charity to work with!
Thanks Again Cindy & Debbie! You guys are wonderful!!!

What a great weekend! This was my very first croptoberfest and I loved every minute of it and I was amazed how many pages I actually got done. I look forward to it next year.
